The past and future came together in fine style at Leeds Castle on September 15th and 16th, as sound system innovator Steinway Lyngdorf chose Potters Home Digital to assist with its UK launch of its award-winning Model S audio speaker. The 900-year-old castle, set in it's most beautiful setting along with some fantastic weather, made a dramatic backdrop for the ultimate in music and home cinema sound quality.

Around 170 specially invited guests attended the exclusive gathering and were treated to the much-awaited 'Model S' experience: remarkably true-to-life stereo and surround sound delivered by speakers which, for their power and sheer audio quality, are amazingly compact. Also present was the magnificent 'Model D' music system, and the immense 'Model M' home cinema setup - a truly memorable experience in iteself! Demonstrations were given throughout the 2 days thus allowing invitees and their guests to observe the Steinway Lyngdorf range at their own leisure and pace, many of whom ensured that they had more than one opportunity to hear first class music and sound.

The Model S brings hitherto-unimagined music and home cinema sound quality to homes, reception areas, yachts and anywhere else where space may be limited but expectations aren’t. The Maiden’s Tower proved a perfect setting for theatre-style demonstrations of the Steinway Lyngdorf ambience, as a former resident of the castle used the Maidens Tower as a private cinema. In the adjacent marquee a genuine Steinway Model B grand piano, along with our resident pianist Damien Smith and Steinway artist Spencer Payne, produced further ravishing sounds - which also served to confirm how true to reality Steinway Lyngdorf speakers actually are.

The event also featured exhibits by viewing system innovators Kaleidescape as well as control and automation masters Crestron - providing a complete overview of home entertainment possibilities at the peak of current potential.
