With this project we were already undertaking a comprehensive Bang & Olufsen multi-room BeoLink system and a large Lutron Homeworks lighting system. The client wished to utilise the basement/cellar with a games froom and dedicated home cinema.

To maximise viewing comfort, a basement was dug out to create tiered seating. In conjunction with the developer, GCD Limited with whom we have an excellent relationship, a luxurious home cinema was designed with our specialist home cinema partners. A custom 7' 'Screen Innovations' screen was installed along with an Epson EHTW5800 1080p projector.

The high powered Sunfire TGA7401, a 7 channel x 400W amplifier, drove James 806BE front and centre speakers whilst M&K SW95's were used for the rear, complimented by two Sunfire SRS210 in-wall subwoofers. This delivered a very high powered system capable of handling the sound dynamics that blockbuster movies require for maximum enjoyment.

Source equipment included Sky HD, Blu-Ray and a Kaleidescape multimedia server. Seating and Lutron lighting was again done in conjunction with our home cinema partners. Picture and sound quality surpassed that of a commercial cinema and the client was delighted with the results.
