We are known by consumers in Kent for our retail store, our product expertise and personal service. Our shop has been a feature on Tenterden High Street for over 100 years. Around 20 years ago, we moved into working with homeowners, developers and interior designers to bring more than just products.
Our knowledge of technology for automation, and integration of systems and products, allows us to design, plan and deliver immersive audio and visual experiences, anywhere. From tv walls to full smart home networking solutions and commercial space AV set up.
And we don’t stop there. Lighting control, shading, access systems and CCTV, all joined together, or not, to suit the needs of the space.
Our team are perfectionists; meaning every project is delivered to the same exacting standards. We’re passionate about technology and creating perfectly connected spaces with seamless control.
Alex worked in Potters’ retail shop on Tenterden High Street as a Saturday Boy at the age of 14.
After university, Alex soon returned to immerse himself day-to-day in the technology industry's developments. Appointed as our managing director in 2013, Alex leads the business but also remains our key spokesman and an expert in design and product selection as required on all projects.
Working with developers, architects, interior designers and end-users to create 'next level' solutions for residential and commercial spaces, Alex's knowledge is what builds and maintains our 'technology partner' status with so many.

Constantly receiving positive feedback for his non-salesy approach.
Neil is our front of house product expert. When visiting our retail and experience centre, he will guide you through your options and share his knowledge of the technology available to suit your needs.
At Potters, our enthusiasm is driven by our intention to understand what products and set up will deliver what you aspire to have in your home, not to push bigger or pricier offerings. Neil does this naturally.

With 22 years in the industry, Jamie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Potters.
He loves a project that requires full reconstruction of a space, especially cinema rooms where the most technical integration of concealed equipment with optimum acoustic performance is required.
In the 16 years (so far) he’s been part of the Potters team, Jamie has supported our engineering apprentices in their training, whilst delivering countless projects for our customers in the UK and overseas. In fact, he’s engineered and installed solutions ‘on the seas’ too, on luxury yachts in various ports!

When overseas installations are required, Toby is always first to put his hand up.
Joining Potters straight from school, Toby trained both on the job and attended an advanced course at college to consolidate his learning. He is now fully qualified and with nearly 10 years’ experience under his belt.
Toby’s favourite jobs have been those that took him overseas, especially into the Swiss Alps to kit out a ski lodge with full AV set up!

James didn't expect to get the chance to work outdoors when choosing to work in the AV industry.
He’s happiest when delivering bespoke solutions in outdoor spaces that leave the client visibly impressed, but he does that just as well indoors too!
Trained to the highest industry standards, James has been described as a ‘supportive sleuth’ by providing optimised and simplified solutions to customers’ network and multi-channel issues.
