Through photometric technology, a super speed camera system will precisely track your movements and the flight of the ball, puck, disc or shuttlecock by taking series of images during and immediately after impact or release. Photometric camera-based systems tend to be most reliable indoors as they use vision sensors that output pixel-level intensity changes in motion events at very high speeds. The cameras record up to 200 frames per second to measure path, face angle, impact speed, launch angle, the direction of travel, plus additional information to calculate any spin, hit or release factor to deliver extremely accurate results.
Infra-red lights deliver a powerful 850nm spectrum from 60 LED lights with a beam angle of 60° which ensures that the complete detection area from the player to the screen receives the right amount of light for the system to measure the movements and ball flight. As well as having the advantage of delivering a substantial amount of light for the detection system, the lights are not visible by the naked eye, and will not flood the screen with visible light. This results in a brighter, clearer and sharper projected image which vastly improves the players experience.
