The Smart Home Garden

The brief;

We had a vision of creating something special in the outdoor space behind our own retail and showroom location in Tenterden, Kent by collaborating with RHS Chelsea award-winning landscape designer, Laura Anstiss of Oakmore Green. An industry-breaking concept in the UK combining smart technology, award-winning garden design, and meticulous craftsmanship. An awe-inspiring space, to exceed, excite and challenge what a garden can be.

The delivery;

The show garden itself comprises of a full outdoor kitchen, seating and entertaining area, and large outdoor smart office, the smart element of the garden encompasses an automated eco lighting solution, fully discrete outdoor cinema, multiple audio zones, and automation of water features; all controlled via touch screens a single mobile app, or even your voice.

Bespoke Discreet Audio

Our approach to outdoor audio provides a smooth, even sound throughout the area. Garden sound design comprising satellite speakers and sub woofers, envelops a space with clear and balanced audio. We’re not talking about blasting into neighbouring gardens. We’re envisioning precision musical detail underpinned by rich bass, controlled so that it reaches the corners of your garden and no further.

Beautifully Lit Whatever the Weather

From a conceptual design to detail design and supply of high-quality luminaires, we combine beautiful lighting schemes with simple and eco, energy saving, simplified control. From your personal smart device, a simple button press as you walk out the back door, to automation based on astronomical time clocks, the scene will always be set, ready to welcome you.

Staying Connected Outside

By integrating all-encompassing weatherproof wireless access points, we ensure ultimate solutions to ensure you’re always connected in or out of the house. Almost everything requires a network connection, so we ensure everything from the water irrigation and CCTV cameras to catching up on some emails or your favourite show on your laptop is always connected and done so securely.
